19.—(1) The Specified Products from China (Restriction on First Placing on the Market) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008(1) are amended in accordance with paragraphsand .
(2) In regulation 2(1) (Interpretation) for the definition of “Regulation 178/2002” substitute ““Regulation 178/2002” means Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety, as last amended by Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council.”(2).
(3) Omit regulation 8 (Transitional provisions).
