The Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968

3.  In section 7 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968(1) (protection of trustees and executors)–

(a)repeal the word “illegitimate” wherever it occurs;

(b)in paragraphs (a) and (b) after “person” insert–

  • whose parents are not or have not been married to one another; and

(c)in paragraph (c)–

(i)after “of” insert “a”;

(ii)repeal the word “an” where it first occurs; and

(iii)after “person” insert–

  • whose parents are not or have not been married to one another.
