2.—(1) Schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (the specified authorities)(1) is amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
(2) In the listing of the specified authorities, under the heading “Executive bodies”–
(a)insert, at the appropriate places–
(i)“Quality Meat Scotland”; and
(ii)“The Skills Development Scotland Co. Limited”;
(b)at the end of “any National Park authority” insert “(except in respect of nominated members, as defined in paragraph 3(7) of schedule 1 to the National Parks (Scotland) Act 2000(2))”; and
(c)omit “Scottish Hospital Endowments Research Trust”.
(3) In that listing, under the heading “Advisory bodies”–
(a)insert, at the appropriate place, “Scottish Local Authorities Remuneration Committee”; and
(b)omit “Scottish Advisory Committee on the Medical Workforce”.
(4) In that listing, omit–
(a)the heading “Nationalised bodies”; and
(b)the following entries under that heading–
(i)“Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd”;
(ii)“David MacBrayne Ltd”; and
(iii)“Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd”.
(5) In that listing, under the heading “Public corporations” insert, at the appropriate places–
(a)“Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd”;
(b)“David MacBrayne Ltd”; and
(c)“Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd”.
(6) In that listing, under the heading “National Health Service bodies” insert, at the appropriate place, “Common Services Agency for the Scottish Health Service”.
Schedule 2 is amended by S.S.I. 2005/540, 2006/363 and 2007/110.
