2. 7th October 2011 is the day appointed for the following provisions of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 to come into force—
(a)section 157 (vacant dwellings: use of information obtained for council tax purposes); and
(b)section 158 (housing support: persons found to be homeless or threatened with homelessness), but only for the purpose of enabling consultation by the Scottish Ministers in terms of section 32B(7) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1).
1987 c.26. Section 32B of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 is added by section 158 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010.
