16.—(1) Article 30A (offshore wind generating stations using relevant wind turbines)(1) is amended as follows.
(2) For the heading substitute—
“Offshore wind generating stations using 2006/10 wind turbines”.
(3) For paragraph (1) substitute—
“(1) This article applies to electricity which is generated—
(a)from wind;
(b)by a generating station which is offshore; and
(c)using 2006/10 wind turbines.”.
(4) Omit paragraphs (2) and (3).
(5) For paragraph (4) substitute—
“(4) The amount of electricity to be stated in each SROC issued in respect of electricity to which this article applies is of a megawatt hour.”.
(6) In paragraph (5)—
(a)omit “generated by a generating station”; and
(b)for “relevant wind turbines” substitute “2006/10 wind turbines”.
(7) For paragraph (7) substitute—
“(7) In this article, “2006/10 wind turbine”, in relation to a generating station, means a wind turbine which, in the Authority’s view, forms part of the station from a date no earlier than 12th July 2006 and no later than 31st March 2010.”.
Article 30A was inserted by article 9 of S.S.I. 2010/147 and amended by article 11 of S.S.I. 2011/225.
