4. In regulation 20(1) (persons not entitled to council tax reductions: students)—
(a)after paragraph (3)(i)(i) insert—
“(ia)aged 21 and attained that age during a course of study which is not a course of higher education;”;
(b)in paragraph (5)—
(i)for “For the purposes of paragraph 3(i)(i)” substitute “In paragraph (3)(i)”;
(ii)for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—
“(a)head (ia) only applies to an applicant until the end of the course during which the applicant attained the age of 21;”; and
(iii)in sub-paragraph (b), for “the reference” substitute “a reference”.
There is an amendment to regulation 20, but it is not relevant to these Regulations.
