21.—(1) The Cattle Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2007 M1 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2(1) (interpretation), in the definition of “cattle passport”, for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—
“(a)a cattle passport issued in Scotland under regulation 7 and schedule 3 of these Regulations or the equivalent measures in England or Wales;”,
(3) In regulation 10(2)(j) (powers of inspectors)—
(a)omit head (i),
(b)omit “or” before head (ii),
(c)in head (ii) omit “other”.
(4) In schedule 1 (ear tags)—
(a)in paragraph 5(4) (replacement ear tags)—
(i)after “Regulation (EC) No. 820/1997” insert “ , Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 820/1997 M2 as it has effect in EU law, ”,
(ii)for “another” substitute “ a ”,
(b)omit paragraph 8 (intra-Community trade),
(c)in paragraph 11 (alteration of ear tags)—
