4.—(1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 639/2014 of 11 March 2014 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing rules for direct payments to farmers under support schemes within the framework of the common agricultural policy and amending Annex X to that Regulation(1) is amended as follows.
(2) Omit Article 40 (calculation of shares of different crops for crop diversification).
EUR 2014/639, relevantly amended by S.I. 2020/91. This Regulation was incorporated into domestic law on exit day by section 1 of the Direct Payments to Farmers (Legislative Continuity) Act 2020 (c.2). EUR 2014/639 is relevantly prospectively amended with effect from IP completion day by S.I. 2019/208 (para 1 of schedule 5 to the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020 (c.1) means that this instrument would have come into force on IP completion day rather than on exit day as drafted), but those amendments are prospectively revoked by the Agriculture (Payments) (Amendment, etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 immediately before IP completion day.
