11Power to survey land
Section 167 of the [1980 c. 65.] Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (power to survey land proposed to be acquired compulsorily by an urban development corporation) shall apply in relation to any land which the Authorities are considering acquiring under section 4 (Acquisition and occupation of lands) of this Act as if they were—
(a)an urban development corporation within the meaning of that Act; and
(b)proposing to acquire the land compulsorily under that Act.
