1 Time of noting. U.K.

In subsection (4) of section fifty-one of the M1Bills of Exchange Act, 1882 (which relates to the time of noting a dishonoured bill), the words “it must be noted on the day of its dishonour” shall be repealed, and the following words shall be substituted therefor, namely, “it may be noted on the day of its dishonour and must be noted not later than the next succeeding business day.”
