Education (Scotland) Act 1980, Section 2A is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 05 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)The Secretary of State may by regulations make provision for the testing and assessment of pupils undertaking the first or second year of secondary education in public F2... schools.
(2)It shall be the duty of an education authority F3... to comply with the provisions of regulations made in pursuance of subsection (1) above.
(3)Regulations made in pursuance of subsection (1) above may make different provision as to different cases or circumstances.]
