(1)For each financial year the Secretary of State shall prepare a report on the discharge of his functions—
(a)[F1under Parts 1 and 3] and sections 13 and 14 of this Act,
[F2(b) under section 67(1) of the M1 Town and Country Planning Act 1971 and section 65(1) of the M2 Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972 (industrial development certificates), ]
(c)under Part III of the M3Industry Act 1972 (including any functions in respect of guarantees given by him under section 7 of the M4Shipbuilding Industry Act 1967), and
(d)under the M5English Industrial Estates Corporation Act 1981,
and shall lay the report before Parliament not later than six months after the end of the financial year to which it relates.
(2)The Secretary of State may discharge his duty under this section in any year by making a report on his functions under Part I, F3... Part III or sections 13 and 14 of this Act, or under the other enactments mentioned in subsection (1) above and one or more separate reports on the remaining functions.
(3)A report under this section relating to Part III of this Act or Part III of the M6Industry Act 1972 shall contain a statement showing the total amount of the liabilities of the Secretary of State (exclusive of any liability in respect of interest on a principal sum) under guarantees given by him under Part III of this Act or Part II of that Act or, as the case may be, under Part III of that Act (and in the latter case shall include liabilities under guarantees given under section 7 of the M7Shipbuilding Industry Act 1967).
