13(1)The Commission shall make to the Secretary of State, as soon as may be after the end of each financial year, a report on the exercise of their functions since the last report was made or (in the case of the first) since the Commission’s establishment.E+W
(2)Each report shall include a copy of the statement of accounts prepared and audited under paragraph 12 in respect of the financial year [F1and, where the statement has been audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General, a copy of his report on it].
(3)Each report [F2of the Commission] shall include a statement of action taken by the Commission to promote the enjoyment of ancient monuments and historic buildings by disabled members of the public.
(4)The Secretary of State shall lay a copy of each report [F3of the Commission] before each House of Parliament.
(5)As soon as may be after receiving any report made by the auditors on any accounts audited under paragraph 12 [F4or, as the case may be, made by the Comptroller and Auditor General on any statement of accounts prepared under that paragraph], the Commission shall send a copy of the report to the Secretary of State.
(6)The Commission shall furnish the Secretary of State with such information relating to their property and the discharge and proposed discharge of their functions as he may require, and for that purpose they shall permit any person authorised by him to inspect and make copies of any accounts or other documents of the Commission and shall give such explanation of them as that person or the Secretary of State may require.
(7)In this paragraph “financial year” has the same meaning as in paragraph 12.
