There are currently no known outstanding effects for the British Steel Act 1988, Paragraph 5.
5U.K.Subsections (2) to (5) of section 21 of the 1982 Act (Treasury guarantees) shall continue to apply in relation to any guarantee given by the Treasury under that section with respect to a liability of the Corporation which becomes a liability of the successor company by virtue of section 1 of this Act, but as if the reference to the Corporation in section 21(4) were a reference to the successor company.
