(1)In discharging its pollution control functions, each new Agency [F1and the Natural Resources Body for Wales] shall have regard to the strategy.
(2)In this section “pollution control functions” F2... [F3means]—
(a)[F4means] in the case of the Agency [F5or the Natural Resources Body for Wales], the functions conferred on it by or under the enactments specified in section 5(5) above [F6(subject, in the case of the Body, to section 5(6) above)] ; or
(b)in the case of SEPA, [F7the functions conferred on it by or under the enactments specified in section 33(5) above] [F7has the same meaning as in section 108(15) below in relation to SEPA].
