In this Act—
“assured tenancy”, “assured shorthold tenancy” and “assured agricultural occupancy” have the same meaning as in Part I of the M1Housing Act 1988;
[F1“contract-holder” has the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (anaw 1) (see section 7 (see also section 48) of that Act);]
“enactment” includes an enactment comprised in subordinate legislation (within the meaning of the M2Interpretation Act 1978);
“housing action trust” has the same meaning as in the Housing Act 1988;
“housing association” has the same meaning as in the M3Housing Associations Act 1985;
[F1“introductory standard contract” has the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (see section 16 of that Act);]
“introductory tenancy” and “introductory tenant” have the same meaning as in Chapter I of Part V of this Act;
“local housing authority” has the same meaning as in the M4Housing Act 1985;
“registered social landlord” has the same meaning as in Part I of this Act;
[F1“secure contract” has the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (see section 8 of that Act);]
“secure tenancy” and “secure tenant” have the same meaning as in Part IV of the Housing Act 1985.
[F1“standard contract” has the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (see section 8 of that Act).]
