Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, Section 53 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 10 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
In section 108 of the Environment Act 1995 (c. 25) (powers of enforcing authorities etc), in subsection (15), in the definition of “pollution control functions” in relation to a waste collection authority, for “conferred on it by section 59” substitute “ conferred or imposed on it by or under Part 2 ”.
