Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009, Section 43 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 05 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)Section 3 of the British Nationality Act 1981 (c. 61) (acquisition by registration: minors) is amended as follows.
(2)In subsection (2), for “within the period of twelve months from the date of the birth” substitute “ while he is a minor ”.
(3)Omit subsection (4).
