[F1“associate member” has the meaning given by section 104B(1);]
“combined authority” means an authority established under section 103(1);
[F2“combined county authority” means a combined county authority established under section 9(1) of the Levelling-up and Regeneration Act 2023;]
[F3“deputy mayor” has the meaning given by section 107C(7);]
[F3“general functions” has the meaning given by section 107D(2);]
“EPB” has the meaning given by section 88(1);
[F4“fire and rescue authority” means a fire and rescue authority under the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004;]
“ITA” has the meaning given by section 104(1);
“local government area” has the meaning given by section 88(7);
[F5“mayor”, in relation to the area of a combined authority, means the mayor for the area of the authority by virtue of an order under section 107A(1);]
[F5“mayoral combined authority” has the meaning given by section 107A(8);]
[F1“nominating body” means a body designated under section 104A(1);
“non-constituent member” has the meaning given by section 104A(3);]
[F5“PCC functions” has the meaning given by section 107F(3);]
“unitary district council” has the meaning given by section 90(4).
