3.—(1) The provisions of section 41 of the Gaming Act 1968 (gaming at entertainments not held for private gain) specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the maximum sums permitted in respect of the matters mentioned in column 2 of that Schedule) shall have effect as if, for the references in those provisions to the sums specified in column 3 of that Schedule(1), there were substituted references to the sums specified in column 4 of that Schedule.

(2) Paragraph (1) above shall have effect only in relation to entertainments held on or after the date on which this Order comes into force.
