Amendment of regulation 22 of the General Regulations
11. In regulation 22 of the General Regulations (reductions in applicable amounts in certain cases of actual or notional benefit disqualification)—
(a)in paragraph (5) after “8(2)” there shall be inserted the words “or 8(3)”;
(b)except where a person’s applicable amount would otherwise be calculated subject to the modification made by regulation 8(3) of the Income Support (Transitional) Regulations 1987(1) (treatment for income Support purposes of periods relating to supplementary benefit), in paragraph (6) for “13” wherever it appears there shall be substituted “26”.
