“Construction and Use Regulations” is defined in regulation 2(1) of the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) Regulations 1982 as meaning the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 (S.I. 1986/1078). Relevant amendments to the 1986 Regulations are made by S.I. 1988/271 and 1524, 1991/1527 and 1992/422.
