19.—(1) Schedule 3 to the Income Support Regulations (housing costs) shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.
(2) In paragraph 1(1) there shall be added at the end the following sub-paragraph—
“(i)payments by way of rentcharge within the meaning of section 1 of theRent charges Act 1977(2).”.
(3) In paragraph 5(b)(3) for the words “to which regulation 19 (applicable amounts for persons in residential care and nursing homes) applies” there shall be substituted the words “which is a residential care home or a nursing home for the purposes of regulation 19 (applicable amounts for persons in residential care and nursing homes)”.
(4) In paragraph 9—
(a)in sub-paragraph (1) for the words “(c) to (h)” there shall be substituted the words “(c) to (i)”;
(b)in sub-paragraphs (3) and (4) for the words “(c) to (g)” in each place where they occur there shall be substituted the words “(c) to (i)”.
