The Railways Act 1993 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1994

Provisions coming into force

2.  Subject to article 3 below, the following provisions of the Railways Act 1993 shall come into force on 15th July 1994:

• sections 139 and 140;

• section 152(3) for the purpose of bringing into force the provisions of Schedule 14 referred to in this article;

• in Schedule 14, the repeals relating to section 8 of the Railways Act 1974(1)and section 36 of the Transport Act 1981(2).
