2. Subject to article 3 below, section 18 of the Transport Act 1982(1) shall come into force on the appointed day.
Section 18 was amended by paragraphs 2 and 7 of Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988 (c. 54).
