75.—(1) Section 177(1) of that Act (orders and regulations — general provisions) is amended as follows.N.I.
(2) In subsection (1) before “Any power” there is inserted “Subject to subsection (7)” and the words “and regulations made by the Secretary of State under section 160” are omitted.
(3) In subsection (7)—
(a)for “The power” there is substituted “Any power”,
(b)the words “by section 160” are omitted,
(c)after “regulations”, in both places where it occurs, there is inserted “or orders (except an order under section 162)”.
(4) In subsection (8)—
(a)for “the power” there is substituted “Any power”,
(b)the words “by section 160” are omitted, and
(c)after “regulations” there is inserted “or orders”.
