Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986
69. In the table in regulation 3(2) of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986(1) (interpretation), in the meaning specified in column 2 for the expression “public works vehicle” specified in column 1, for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “a universal service provider (within the meaning of the Post Services Act 2000) in connection with the provision of a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Act)”.

S.I. 1986/1078 was amended by regulation 3(f) of S.I. 1990/1981 and section 120 of, and paragraph 233(1) of Schedule 22 to, the Environment Act 1995 and article 2 of, and the Schedule to, S.I. 1996/252. There are other amendments not relevant to this Order.
