Restriction on disclosure of information
4. Section 174(3A)(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 has effect as if the reference to the functions of the Financial Services Authority under the Banking Act 1987 included a reference to the functions of the Authority under or as a result of the Act.

Subsection (3A) was inserted by the Banking Act 1987, section 87, and subsequently amended by the Bank of England Act 1998, section 23(1), Schedule 5, paragraph 60(a), (b).
