1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Act 2001 (Commencement No. 3) (England) Order 2001.
(2) In this Order—
“the 1948 Act” means the National Assistance Act 1948(1);
“the 1977 Act” means the National Health Service Act 1977(2);
“the 2001 Act” means the Health and Social Care Act 2001; and
“the standard rate” has the same meaning as in section 22(2) of the 1948 Act(3).
(3) This Order extends to England only.
Section 22(2) was amended by the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) (“the 1990 Act”).
