The Income Support (General) and Jobseeker’s Allowance Amendment Regulations 2002

Amendment of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 and of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996

2.  In paragraph (b) of the definition of “self-employment route” in both regulation 2(1) of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987(1) and regulation 1(3) of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996(2) (interpretation)—

(a) at the end of both sub-paragraphs (ii) and (iii), the word “or” shall be omitted;

(b) at the end of sub-paragraph (iv), there shall be added the following—

“or

(v) the New Deal for Lone Parents(3);”.
