2. The following provisions of the Police Reform Act 2002 shall come into force on 1st June 2004—
(a)section 30 (resignation in the interests of efficiency and effectiveness);
(b)section 31 (procedural requirements for removal of senior officers);
(c)section 32 (suspension of senior officers);
(d)section 33 (removal etc. of senior officers at the instance of the Secretary of State);
(e)section 107(2) (consequential amendments and repeals) in so far as it relates to the entry in Schedule 8 referred to in paragraph (f) below; and
(f)in Schedule 8 (repeals), the entry relating to section 42(5) of the Police Act 1996(1).
