Amendment of Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976

2.  Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976(1) is amended as follows:

(a)in Part II–

(i)under the sub-heading “Libraries, museums and arts”, at the end of the entry relating to The Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England insert “(Known as English Heritage)”; omit the entry relating to Resource: The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries and after the entry relating to The Millennium Commission insert “The Museum, Archives and Libraries Council”; and omit the entry relating to the Science Museum;

(ii)under the sub-heading “Regulatory, audit and inspection”, at the end of the entry relating to The Engineering Council insert “(UK)”; and

(iii)under the sub-heading “Other Bodies, etc”, at the end of the entry relating to The Gas and Electricity Consumer Council insert “(Energywatch)”;

(b)in Part III under the sub-heading “Education”, for the entry relating to The National College of School Leadership substitute “The National College for School Leadership”; and

(c)after Part III insert the headings and entries set out in the Schedule to this Order.
