Amendment to the Civil Procedure Rules 1998
50. In rule 74.1—
(a)after paragraph (4), insert new paragraph (4A)—
“(4A) Section V applies to—
(a)the certification of judgments and court settlements in England and Wales as European Enforcement Orders; and
(b)the enforcement in England and Wales of judgments, court settlements and authentic instruments certified as European Enforcement Orders by other Member States.”; and
(b)in paragraph (5), after sub-paragraph (d), insert—
“;
(e)
“the EEO Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 805/2004 creating a European Enforcement Order for uncontested claims.”.
