2. In Part 1 of Schedule 4 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001(1) (which specifies some of the controlled drugs that are subject to the requirements of regulations 22, 23, 26 and 27 and for which provision is made by certain other regulations), in paragraph 1 after “4-Hydroxy-n-butyric acid” insert “Ketamine”(2).
S.I. 2001/3998, to which there are a number of amendments. The substance 4-Hydroxy-n-butyric acid was inserted into paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 4 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 by S.I. 2003/1432.
The substance Ketamine was inserted into Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which specifies drugs which are subject to control under that Act as Class C drugs, by S.I. 2005/3178.
