2. The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 8th May 2006—
(a)in section 161 (abolition of Royal Parks Constabulary), subsection (1) and, to the extent not already in force, subsection (5);
(b)section 174(2) (minor and consequential amendments, repeals and revocations) in so far as it relates to the entries in Schedule 17 in paragraph (d) below;
(c)paragraphs 9, 10 and 12 in Part 2 of Schedule 13 (abolition of Royal Parks Constabulary: supplementary); and
(d)in Part 2 of Schedule 17 (repeals and revocations), the entries relating to—
(i)paragraph 27D and the cross-heading before it of Schedule 1 to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000(1); and
(ii)section 82(1)(f) and (5) of the Police Reform Act 2002(2).
