1. This Order, which applies to England only(1), may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating and Council Tax (Electronic Communications) (England) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 1st March 2006.
The powers under which the Non-Domestic Rating (Collection and Enforcement) (Central Lists) Regulations 1989 (S.I. 1989/2260), the Non-Domestic Rating (Collection and Enforcement) (Local Lists) Regulations 1989 (S.I. 1989/1058) and the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/613) are made are devolved, in relation to Wales, to the National Assembly for Wales by the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672); see the reference to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and the Local Government Finance Act 1992 in Schedule 1.
