2. Section 36 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988(1) (reviews of sentencing) shall apply in relation to an order made by the High Court, on or after the date on which this Order comes into force, under section 269(2) of the 2003 Act (determination of minimum term in relation to mandatory life sentence) on a reference under paragraph 6 of Schedule 22 to that Act (which relates to transitional cases) as it applies to an order under section 269(2) of that Act by the Crown Court.
