Appointed day for provisions relating to audit

4.  1 February 2007 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act, so far as they relate to Welsh NHS bodies —

(a) section 56 and Schedule 3;

(b) paragraphs 24(a), 43, 44 and 62 of Schedule 8, and section 80(1) in so far as it relates to those provisions;

(c) in Schedule 9 —

(i) paragraph 21 of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Reform and Health Care Professions Act 2002(1);

(ii) paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004(2);

(iii) article 2 of the Regulatory Reform (National Health Service Charitable and Non-Charitable Trust Accounts and Audit) Order 2005(3); and

(d) section 80(2) in so far as it relates to the repeals or revocations specified in paragraph (c).
