Appointed day

2.  The day appointed for the coming into force of—

(a)section 23 of the Act (equal treatment for men and women) in so far as it relates to the provisions specified in this Order; and

(b)paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 to the Act (non-compliance: compulsory levelling up) (except sub-paragraph (2)) for the purposes of—

(i)paragraph 5A(1) of that Schedule (unfair paternity leave provisions); and

(ii)paragraph 5B of that Schedule (unfair adoption leave provisions),

is 24th August 2007.
