1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No.2) Regulations 2008.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3), these Regulations shall come into force on 19th May 2008.
(3) Regulations 3(12)(h) and 5(12)(d) shall come into force on 27th October 2008.
(4) In these Regulations—
“the Decisions and Appeals Regulations” means the Social Security and Child Support (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999(1);
“the Housing Benefit Regulations” means the Housing Benefit Regulations 2006(2);
“the Housing Benefit (State Pension Credit) Regulations” means the Housing Benefit (Persons who have attained the qualifying age for state pension credit) Regulations 2006(3);
“the Council Tax Benefit Regulations” means the Council Tax Benefit Regulations 2006(4);
“the Council Tax Benefit (State Pension Credit) Regulations” means the Council Tax Benefit (Persons who have attained the qualifying age for state pension credit) Regulations 2006(5); and
“the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit (Consequential Provisions) Regulations” means the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit (Consequential Provisions) Regulations 2006(6).
