20.—(1) Regulation 19 (application of Insolvency Act 1986(1)) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (1)—
(a)after “Regulations” insert “in England and Wales or Scotland”;
(b)for “the 1985 Act” substitute “the 2006 Act”.
(3) After paragraph (1) insert—
“(1A) Part 4 of the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989(2) shall apply to EEIGs, and their establishments, registered under these Regulations in Northern Ireland, as if they were companies registered under the 2006 Act.”
(4) In consequence of the amendments made by this regulation, the heading to regulation 19 becomes “Application of insolvency legislation”.
