3.—(1) The functions of the Lord Privy Seal under the following enactments(1) are transferred to the Secretary of State—
(a)the Equal Pay Act 1970(2);
(b)the Sex Discrimination Act 1975(3);
(c)the Race Relations Act 1976(4);
(d)the Sex Discrimination (Election Candidates) Act 2002(5);
(e)section 213 of the Civil Partnership Act 2004(6);
(f)the Equality Act 2006(7).
(2) The functions under the following enactments which are exercisable by the Secretary of State and the Lord Privy Seal concurrently(8) shall cease to be exercisable by the Lord Privy Seal—
(a)the Employment and Training Act 1973(9);
(b)section 70 of the Charities Act 2006(10).
The functions were transferred to the Lord Privy Seal by S.I. 2007/2914.
The functions are exercisable concurrently by virtue of S.I. 2007/2914.
