2. 31 March 2010 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act —
(a)section 8(3) (provision of accommodation and maintenance for children who are looked after by a local authority), Schedule 2 (transitory modifications of Schedule 2 to the Children Act 1989)(1) and Schedule 4 (repeals) in so far as it relates to the repeal relating to section 12 of the Adoption and Children Act 2002(2); and
(b)section 34.
