2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act is 19th April 2010:
(a)section 3 (regulations about senior officers);
(b)section 4 (metropolitan police force appointments);
(c)section 112(2) (minor and consequential amendments and repeals and revocations) insofar as it relates to the provisions of Part 1 of Schedule 8 (repeals and revocations);
(d)Part 1 of Schedule 8.
