The Charities (Pre-consolidation Amendments) Order 2011

40.—(1) In the provisions listed in sub-paragraph (2), omit the definition of “charity”.

(2) The provisions are—

(a) section 622(1) of the Housing Act 1985(1);

(b) section 169(9) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989(2);

(c) section 58(1) of the Charities Act 1992(3);

(d) section 23A(10) of, and paragraph 8A(6) of Schedule 22 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998(4).

1985 c.68. The definition of “charity” in section 622(1) was amended by the Charities Act 1993, Schedule 6, paragraph 30. There are other amendments of section 622(1) not relevant to this Order.
