2. In section 5(4) of the Transport Act 2000(1), omit the words “(as defined in section 1(1) of the Companies Act 2006)”.

2000 c.38. Section 5(4) has been amended by the Companies Act 2006 (Consequential Amendments, Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2009 (S.I. 2009/1941), Schedule 1, paragraph 184(1) and (2).

They aim to make the Statutory Instrument accessible to readers who are not legally qualified and accompany any Statutory Instrument or Draft Statutory Instrument laid before Parliament from June 2004 onwards.
