Pilot Schemes
3. Sections 24 to 30 of the Act (domestic violence) shall come into force in the following areas:
(a)in the Greater Manchester police area, the Policing Divisions known as North Manchester Division, City of Salford Division and Bolton Division(1); and
(b)in the West Mercia police area, the Territorial Policing Unit known as North Worcestershire(2).

The geographical area of the Greater Manchester Police is covered by 12 Policing Divisions or Basic Command Units. These are coterminous with 10 local authority areas.
