16. In entry 4 in the table in section 56(6) of the Data Protection Act 1998(1) for “Independent Safeguarding Authority” substitute “Disclosure and Barring Service”.

1998 c. 29. Entry 4 was inserted by section 63(1) of, and paragraph 15 of Schedule 9 to, the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and amended by S.I. 2007/1351 and section 81(3)(i) of the Policing and Crime Act 2009.
