1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 (Application of Parts 12ZA, 12ZB and 12ZC to Parental Order Cases) Regulations 2014.
(2) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4), these Regulations come into force on 19th November 2014.
(3) The modification of section 171ZB of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992(1) by the insertion of subsection (3C) as set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations comes into force on the date that section 171ZB(2)(ba)(2) comes into force.
(4) The modification of section 171ZL of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992(3) by the insertion of subsection (3B) as set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations comes into force on the date that section 171ZL(2)(ba)(4) comes into force.
(5) Regulation 4 does not have effect in cases involving children whose expected week of birth ends on or before 4th April 2015.
Section 171ZB was inserted by the Employment Act 2002, section 2; there are amending instruments but none is relevant.
Section 171ZB(2)(ba) was inserted by the Welfare Reform Act 2012 (c. 5), section 63(1) and (4) as from a day to be appointed.
Section 171ZL was inserted by the Employment Act 2002, section 4; there are amending instruments but none is relevant.
Section 171ZL(2)(ba) was inserted by the Welfare Reform Act 2012, section 63(1) and (8) as from a day to be appointed.
