8.—(1) This article applies while StayCo is wholly owned by the Treasury.
(2) StayCo, and any StayCo group undertaking, is not to be treated as—
(a)a publicly-owned company for the purposes of section 3(1)(b) (public authorities) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000(1);
(b)holding information for the purposes of section 3(2)(b) of that Act on behalf of—
(i)the Bank of England,
(ii)a Minister of the Crown,
(iii)the Treasury,
(iv)the Treasury Solicitor, or
(v)UK Financial Investments Limited.
